IMPLEMENTING CHANGE

FORWARD \ SYNOPSIS

EDGE OF THE ABYSS

In terms of living memory or reliable historical record, humanity is entering a rare and seemingly unique era of existence. It is an era which, if one stood at the beginning of human existence as recorded in Genesis, one could foresee and reasonably predict to arise. In as much as it was all but inevitable that Cain through predisposition would kill Abel and visit the first and initiating death upon humanity, so to it was all but inevitable that humanity would threaten to visit annihilating death upon itself and its world.

The rapidly increasing rate with which knowledge, gathered over the centuries and collated into useable form, is on one hand fuelling immense advances in various fields of helpful innovation. On the other hand, from the remaining darkness and malice harbored in the soul of humanity, arise simultaneous 'advances' of potentially proportional counter devastation. Each step 'forward' is threatened by even larger, more devastating consequences which can propel humanity backwards - this time abysmally.

This to some extent seems analogous to the historic event of the Tower of Babel where human consciousness and self-assumed excellence fragmented and brought millennia of scattering and torment. These ages of fragmenting and scattering are now converging into a critical mass of a potentially explosive world-wide state of knowledge and misguided technological endeavor. Are we about to repeat the Babel scenario? Is there sufficient resilience in the physicality of the world and within Divine tolerance to sustain yet another such affliction? Reason suggests not.

The apparent sophistication of the 'progressive' work might sometimes give the illusion that the concluding and hopefully liberating links of absolute-knowledge are being forged. The horizons of genetic engineering, for example foretell an impending moment when humanity will discover its potential to create life from inanimate matter - from 'dust'.

If humanity is a created entity, its ability to re-create life is a natural potential enshrined (but presently latent or inaccessible) within its own creation. It is not so much humanity creating life anew as it is humanity re-creating an expression of its own created self. It is also not so much whether humanity can create life, but the quality of life which it will unavoidably create.

Initially at least, humanity (instinctively and inextricably) re-creates in its own image. All perception, collection and collation of data into faculties of knowledge by humanity is a reflection and a contrasting of itself.

Humanity's re-creation of its own image is the animation and chain-re-creation of its own goodness but also importantly and disastrously its self acquired 'deformity'. The animation and chain-re-creation of such 'deformity' is its eternalization and therefore a process indistinguishable from the initiation and propagation of hell.

This is largely the reason why humanity was not permitted to remain in the Garden of Eden in case it 'ate' from the Tree of Life in Genesis 3.22 - so that it would not animate and eternalize its self inflicted predisposition to demise, misery and death. At least not in Eden.

What humanity is now poised to do - initiate chain-re-creation of its own deformed image through genetic engineering and reproductive sciences - is what it was prevented from doing by expulsion from Eden. It seems reasonable therefore to assume that another Divine interception will occur soon because otherwise this dimension will be transformed into hell and all hope of "heaven on earth" (actually "heaven in this dimension") will become futile.

One important question to ask if this is the case, is whether there exists a critical mass of humans for which this dimension is worth saving, rather than removing them and ceding the remainder to hell. It would appear that the answer is yes. The reference to critical mass in Genesis 18.20-32 determines at least 10 righteous people are enough to save a city, but this may have been a proportion to how many in total lived in Sodom and Gomor'rah. The same proportion living on earth may be hundreds of thousands or even millions.

The greatest affliction cursing humanity is death occurring through the use of abortifacients fed to the masses under the guise of contraceptives. Because these deaths are occurring so deep in the microcosm, they effect the psyche of people more profoundly. Death becomes ingrained beyond the thresholds of most peoples' awareness and thereby its application in the barbarism of abortion, partial birth abortion and certain experimental procedures is perceived as unimportant and not significantly resisted by the en masse public. Importantly also, death so prolific and enshrined so deep within humanity spawns its (death's) image within humanity's activities and innovations. The leaders and governments of democratic states assume public endorsement of this barbarism, but indeed the public has been poisoned into acceptance by being deceived about and fed The Pill. This is the most tragic and insidious condition humanity is presently in. Without address only catastrophe can follow.

This book is primarily a discussion of the circumstances prevailing in these seemingly last days of the world.
